Wanderlust Wednesdays | Baía do Sancho, Brazil
Posted: May 13 2015
Since we loved our Ano Novo post about Brazil so much, we decided to go back! This time we headed to the beach that won the Tripadvisor Travelers' Choice award for best beach two years in a row. With a five-star rating and over two thousand reviews, this beach will surely suit your relaxation needs. This gorgeous location boasts weather that is around 80 degrees all year round, making it the perfect place to see at any point in the year (even during the rainy season from April to July, which is a little damp). This island beach is a part of the Fernando de Noronha archipelago, which is a group of 21 islands that are off the shore of Brazil. Baía do Sancho is a protected zone for nature purposes, so there is a small preservation fee that tourists have to pay when visiting. But it is well worth it! This beach is surrounded by lush green vegetation that grows from the cliffs and water so clear that it makes diving a dream. We must warn you, to get to this beach is not the easiest, it is one of the most secluded due to the challenges in getting there. Two ways, by boat or a bit of a hike on foot, but the experience with the final reward is amazing!
